Toolbox4Jira Terms of Service
29 Aug 2026
Effective date: August 30, 2026
1. About the Service
Toolbox4Jira, including its browser extension, website, and configuration service, is referred to as the “Service”. We maintain the Service independently, and it is not offered by a company.
2. Acceptance
By accessing, installing, or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
3. Free Use
The Service is completely free and requires no purchase, subscription, or paid license. Permission to install and use the Service does not imply that it is open source and does not grant rights to redistribute, modify, or create derivative works.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and third-party terms.
- Not use the Service to gain unauthorized access, disrupt systems, transmit malware, or compromise security.
- Not use the Service in a way that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others.
We may restrict access when these Terms are violated.
5. Privacy
By using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy, which applies to your use and forms part of these Terms.
6. AS IS and No Warranty
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. You use it at your own risk. We make no express, implied, or statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, security, availability, compatibility, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
7. No Support or Availability Promise
We provide no formal support, maintenance, updates, bug fixes, service-level commitments, or uptime guarantees. Any assistance or updates are voluntary. The Service may stop working because of changes to Jira, browsers, or other dependencies.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with Jira and other Atlassian products but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or maintained by Atlassian. Your use of third-party services remains subject to their terms and policies. Their changes, outages, security, and behavior are outside our control.
9. Changes and Discontinuation
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time without notice or liability. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability arising from the Service or your use of, reliance on, or inability to use it. This includes any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of data, profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or business interruption, regardless of the legal basis of the claim or whether such loss was foreseeable.
You are responsible for assessing whether the Service is suitable for your needs and for maintaining appropriate backups and safeguards.
11. Non-Waivable Rights and Severability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
